Christmas Card #4

Hello everyone, Happy December and Happy Holidays!
Today I am sharing with you a card that I made with a digital stamps from Beccys Place, it is part of the Snowman set. Both the snowman and the sentiment are part of this set.

So I printed them on watercolor paper, I made a snow slope to ground my little snowman and his friend the birdie and then I used masking liquid on the snowman so that I could watercolor my background. After I finished with water coloring my background, I removed the liquid masking and I used distress inks to paint my little snowman and his birdie friend.

I used foam pillows behind my punched snowflakes and I used glitter on them.

I also used glitter on the snowman’s hat, for the candy cane and his nose I used glossy accent and for the scarf I used my Wink of Stella clear brush.

I would like to participate on the following challenges:
Simon says stamp blog – Wednesday challenge
Beccys place – blog – december-challenge

  2. Hello, Olga! This looks beautiful! I love your watercoloured background and snowman! I have not been able to watercolour with digital images because my printer ink will run – you are lucky to have the right kind of printer to do this! The added snowflakes are a nice detail! Your card turned out beautifully and I love it!

  3. Your card is fabulous Olga, I especially love the way you've coloured the background! I really like the little snow hill you added, it grounds the snowman perfectly and makes such a cute little winter scene. Love the addition of the snowflakes and the great colours you used for the scarf and hat. Brilliant!
    Cheers,

  4. Love this icy watercolored background. Great job of masking while you did the background…and I love your snowhill too. I've never been able to get the w/color paper to print in any of my printers…so Congrats that you can do that. TFS & Merry Christmas
