Purrfect End – DT inspiration – Coloring digitally

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today I would like to share with you the handmade card I created as Design Team inspiration for Knitty Kitty Digis and the image I have used is called Purrfect End.

For the coloring of the image I used Ibis Paint X for Androids, I then printed the image on Photo Paper and matted it with black cardstock.

I created the background using watercolor paper and sponging different colors of distress inks and distress oxides. I sprinkled water to create the droplets effect.
I also used a stencil with “black soot” distress oxide to add some texture.
For the sentiment I used one of my favorite quotes by Antoine de St-Exupery which really represents my husband and me. I printed it on white card stock, cut it in thin strips and doodled around with a black liner.

I had so much fun coloring digitally and creating the card and I hope you like it!

Please feel free to pin the pictures on your Pinterest board for later reference and inspiration.
