Kleopatra Day

Today my DT inspiration card for Knitty Kitty Digis is featuring the image called Kleopatra.

 

I printed the image on mixed media paper, colored it with Polychromos pencils from Faber Castell and fussy cut it.
I wanted to create a background for Kleopatra so I decided to watercolour some pyramids.

I used Derwent Inktense pencils to draw the pyramids and then with a flat brush I watercoloured them, I also used my pearlescent watercolors to add some interest and shine to them.
I trimmed the watercoloured panel in 14,5 x14,5 cm and adhered it onto a Kraft card base. I then adhered the image with foam tape and for the sentiment I have used the chipboards from Make it Crafty, that I colored with a black brush pen.

I had so much fun coloring this image and creating the card and I hope you like it.
