Knitted Kitty – DT inspiration – Coloring a knitted sweater

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today I would like to share with you the card I created as DT inspiration for Knitty Kitty Digis and the image I have used is called Knitted Kitty and it is on offer right now for 1$!

Annabel  the designer of these lovely images has created a tutorial on how to color a knitted sweater and you can find it on her blog Here.
I have followed it myself and it was so much fun coloring it.
Why don’t you give it a try as well?

In Microsoft Word I imported the image and used Gray scale for the lines and then printed the image on mixed media card stock.
To color the image I used Faber Castell Polychromos pencils and Annabel’s tutorial.
On a white card base I adhered the pattern paper, to create the scalloped edge I used a Simon Says Stamp Scallop Stitched Border die.
I used a sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp stamp set called “Playful kittens” and stamped it with Versafine onyx black ink.
I adhered the image which I fussy cut with foam tape and with a grey Polychromos pencil I created the ground.
To finish off the card I doodled a border with a black liner.
