Surprise Kitty Cake

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!

Today I have a card featuring an image from Knitty Kitty Digis called Surprise Kitty Cake

IMG_20180417_154858

I printed the image on mixed media paper and colored a first layer with Derwent Inktense Pencils and when it was dry I went over everything with Polychromos pencils from Faber Castell. I then fussy cut the image and wrote the sentiment on the banner with a black marker,
I chose a blue doily to add behind the image,
For the die cut behind the image I used Sizzix Framelits,
For the stars I used Sizzix Bigz Die – Stars.
I adhered and layered everything on a navy blue card base and used glitter stickles on the candles and stars of the image. And I added some Tonic Studio Nuvo drops for a final embellishment.

I had so much fun coloring this image and creating the card and I hope you like it.
You might want to pin the pictures on your board for later reference and inspiration.
Thank you for visiting me today,
