Lollypop Meg – DT inspiration card

Hello Everyone!
I am on the Sasayaki Glitter challenge blog today to showcase this super cute and fun image called Lollypop Meg.
You can find many more images on the Sasayaki Glitter Store.

For making this card I had a lot of fun with my Distress Inks from Ranger.
I printed the image on some watercolor paper and used Spiced Marmelade, Picked Raspberry, Shaded Lilac, Victorian Velvet. I also used my white GellyRoll pen from Sakura for some accents.

For the background I also had a lot of fun creating with Distress Inks.
First I die cut the Distress Watercolor Cardstock from Tim Holtz by using the ZigZag rectangle stitched die from My Favorite Things Die-namics.
Then on that piece of watercolor cardstock I used the smooshing technique to apply Spiced Marmelade distress ink. After it was dry I place the die cut piece back into the cardstock and splattered with my brush Picked Raspberry on both pieces.
I used foam tape both on the middle piece of watercolor paper and on the image and adhered my panel on some white card base.
I had so much fun creating this card and playing with watercolors, and I hope you like it!
Thank you so much for visiting,
xoxo Olga

  1. Cute image, and so nicely colored with the feminine colors. Am loving the ZigZag edge of the mat, and what super smooshing you did to create the background on that mat. Loving all the 'spatters' too. The zigzag edge certainly looks handsewn. This is just so pretty! TFS & Hugs
