Facebook Christmas Cards Group – Challenge #2

Hello Everyone!

We have a new Challenge starting today on the Christmas Group on Facebook created by Karin Van Eijk from Karins Art Scrap 

And our theme this month is “Anything goes – Option Trees”

 This month from our Lovely Sponsor which is:

This is the card I have created with the image and digital papers that are being offered to the winner

I printed the image on watercolor paper and just after it came out of the printer I covered the image with Clear Embossing Powder from Ranger and heat embossed it.

It worked very well and I am so happy I thought about doing this because it means that now the image can be watercolored at once and I don’t have to wait for the ink to dry!

I used my Derwent Inktense Pencils to watercolor the image and then I fussy cut it.

 I used the digital pattern papers that are from our lovely Sponsor to create the design of my shaker card. I also used them on the inside of my card.

For the shaker part I used the Sizzix Framelits Circle dies.

For the trees I used one of the digital pattern paper and my NBUS “Never Before Used Schtuff” Tim Holtz Stencil called Woodland. I traced the trees on the paper and then fussy cut them and used my copic markers to create the shading.

The sentiment is from a Panduro stamp set.

These are the rules for the challenge:

The challenges will be from the 1st until the last day of the month.

The 2nd day of the next month we will announce the Winner [ s ] and Top3.

And for the first challenge for the month of January 2017 we will choose 2 Winners.

You may enter 4 cards per month.

If you are a Winner or in the Top3 you will get a price and a badge.

If you are a Winner / Top3 you can display your badge on your Facebook page or on your blog.

Place your Card / Creation in the appropriate Album and then add it also in the group’s page.

The Challenges are always Anything goes or with an option.

Anyone can join in as we will send the prices anywhere in the world.

So come and join us every month with your Christmas cards and before you know it you will have enough cards for next Christmas and you have a big chance to win some great prizes!
