Hello everyone!
On the Sasayaki Glitter challenge blog you can see all the new digital images from November 15th Release.
For my Design Team inspiration card I am showcasing the new image that is called Snowman and Duck.
Today I experimented with this technique of coloring with alcohol markers on vellum.
I printed the image on vellum paper and colored it with my alcohol markers on the back side of the printed image, and I loved it, when you turn the vellum over it really looks like watercolouring!
I will definitely try this again! such a fun way to use your alcohol markers!
After I finished with the coloring I thought it would look cool to make a shaker card with it.
And if you haven’t already noticed it yet ( Lol ), I really love playing with blue colors on my Christmas cards this year.
I added blue beads and blue flower sequins for my shaker.
The sentiment is from Panduro Hobby and is part of a set that I think is discontinued.
I stamped the sentiment on some blue card stock with Versafine black ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder, I fussy cut around the banner and to make the card stock shiny I used clear Versamark ink on the banner and heat embossed it again with clear embossing powder.
I added my shaker panel on a white card base.
So there is my card for today,
I had so much fun creating it and I hope you like it!
Thank you for visiting,
xoxo Olga

Firstly, this is an adorable Snowie. Your coloring on the vellum is wonderful! That's not as easy to do as it sounds (sometimes!) You still have vibrancy on the front side and it looks beautiful with the bold polka dots. Like falling snow & a great image for your shaker card. TFS
