A Communion card

Hello everyone!

I would like to welcome my newest follower Granmargaret from Granmargaret’s cards ‘ n stuff.
Please visit her blog, I’m sure you already know her but I discovered her only recently. She is a talented lady and she is very inspiring! Thank you so much Granmargaret for joining me!

Today I have a card I created with a Julia Spiri digital image which is called The Bride.
I was commissioned to make a card for a 15 year old young woman for her Communion, so we chose this image, even though Julia Spiri’s image is a bride, we thought it fits perfectly for a young woman on her Communion day.

I printed my image on Neenah solar white card stock and colored her with alcohol markers and coloring pencils.
I added some pink liquid Pearls from Ranger for some accents.
I also chose to go for White and Pink colors for my matting papers and embellishments.

The sentiment is on the inside of the card and it translates ” Congratulations on your day” from Norwegian.

I also used some glitter on the butterflies and pink liquid pearls for the trail.

So there is my card for today,
I had so much fun creating it and I hope you like it!
Thank you for visiting!
xoxo Olga
