HAPPY NEW YEAR! Happy and creative 2016!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year! I hope everybody had a great holiday season and all the best wishes for a healthy, happy, prosperous and full of creativity 2016! I’m still trying to get used to write 2016, lol.

I have been away from blogging for a while as here in Norway the holiday season is quite busy, full of family dinners and family visits. So we have been enjoying some quality time with family.
I would like to send all my love to my family in Greece! Unfortunately we were apart for this year’s celebrations and I have missed them greatly! Thank God for Skype, Viber and all the internet facilities available to us!!
For those who visit my blog regularly and who are following me you may have noticed that I have changed the look of my blog. Well being a woman I think we all know how we feel the need to redecorate or change our hair now and then. And since I am Greek and I live in Oslo with my wonderful husband, I miss the blue of the Greek sky so I decided to incorporate it on my blog!

My card today fits very well with the weather and the snow we have right now here in Oslo! We have -10oCelsius average here this week! let’s say it’s quite cold! lol.
I made my card with a digital stamp from Kenny K Stamps and I have used the Happy Holidays digital stamp. I was lucky to get it for free a month ago and I decided to use it just before the Holidays.

I really fell in love with this image and I decided to make a round bauble card with it, and it can actually be hanged on the Christmas tree as a decoration. I colored the image with my Inktense pencils.

I stamped a Christmas sentiment on the inside of the card and I used glossy accent on the candy cane, on the buttons of her shirt and on the candies of the cottage. Clear wink of stella on the hat, the collar of her shirt. Crystal glitter on the snow and the tip of the hat. Green glitter on the mountain top and the tree. And my white signo gel pen to add some accents here and there I also used a lovely wired ribbon from Ikea.

So there is my card for today.
