Christmas card #7

Hello everyone,
I’m back today to share with you a card that I made with a digital stamp from Beccys Place, it is part of the Snowman set. I love this set!

So I printed the lady snowman on watercolor paper (I think it’s a lady, well I want her to be a lady for this card), I colored her with distress inks and after she was dry I fussy cut around the image.
For the background I used this lovely scrapbook paper that has all these stamps with Christmas images and colors.

So to ground my image on the card and because the background is so busy, I cut a strip of red cardstock with white dots that fit with the ones on the scarf and the hat of my image and I adhered it on the bottom of the card.
I used foam squares to adhere the lady snowman on the card and make her pop and some glossy accent on her nose. I also added some glitter on the flowers.

Since it says Merry Christmas in many places on the background I didn’t add any sentiments. I will stamp a nice Norwegian Christmas sentiment on the inside of the card before I send the card on the post.

So there is my card for today.
I really enjoyed making it and I hope you like it!

  1. Lovely work on the Snowlady, I love her outfit, and the pretty poinsettia bouquet she is holding. This looks so nice topping that festive design paper, and your border grounding looks so nice. I wouldn't have thought to do that…clever to match the dots on that with those on her costume. Well done! Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and TFS. Hugs too.
